Reishi Mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum)

My experience with this herb has been quite positive. I was doubtful that this herb would truly do anything, other than a placebo effect. I was proven wrong by my extensive use of it. I used a Reishi 10:1 extract from www.hyperionherbs.com. I took about half a tea spoon of this dark brown powder and dissolved it in about 8oz of hot water and gave it a sip.It has a strong bitter taste, but also has a sweet aftertaste. I don't like using sugar or sweeteners unless it's absolutely necessary. So, i would drink the tea unsweetened and it wasn't too bad. I actually got used to the unique taste!

The effects were almost instantaneous! As i held the tea in my mouth, i could already feel a calming sensation coming over me. It had a very relaxing effect on the mind, which helps in meditation. The most important effects are the ones it had on my body though. I drank one tea a day, usually late at night right before bed. This herb allowed me to fall asleep quickly and feel very refreshed and energetic in the morning. It eliminated all morning grogginess wonderfully! Mainly i felt a lot more energetic and in tune with the spiritual realm. This herb actually allowed me to experience a fascinating thing in meditation. As i went deeper and deeper, i got to a state of complete emptiness.

I forgot who i was,where i was, what i was doing, and even the fact that i was still in meditation. I started to hear voices of some sort and a minor vibration in my body. The voices were mainly talking in gibberish because i could only decipher a handful of words out of a ten-minute conversation. This herb also had a good effect on my pineal gland. I felt more pulsating and was able to predict events much easier than before.

Overall, i highly recommend this herb to anyone who is curious about it or anyone who would like a significant boost in both physical AND spiritual energy!
