Indian Warrior (Pedicularis Densiflora.)

A rather unique herb i've been using for quite some time. I have made tea out of it and also smoked it. I find the best results from the smoking method. It's considered a sedative and i must agree on that, but it is not completely sedating. It has a very mellow feeling that can be slightly overpowering at times. It starts off with a calming and muscle relaxing buzz, but slowly changes into something far stronger. It leaves you in this blissful, almost drunken stupor. Your mind slows down and talking about rational things becomes quite difficult.

I tried making a tea with about 1 gram of foliage and leaves, but the tea was so bitter that it was almost impossible to drink! After dumping about 4 tablespoons of honey into about 8oz of tea, i was able to down it. It gave me similar effects as smoking it, but it was a little bit more potent and intoxicating.. instead of relaxing and calming.

Overall, i highly recommend this lovely herb. I have grown very connected to it over the months and wish i could grown my own. I can't because i live in an area where the conditions are not suitable for Pedicularis Densiflora. I can't complain though because i buy it organically grown off the internet and most sites charge $20.00 an Oz of this great herb. The price might seem steep, but i think it is fair because the effects from only about half a gram are amazing. This whole Oz lasted me about a year because you CAN develop a tolerance to it. So, i only smoked on rare occasions... about twice a month or so. If you are the fence of whether you should try this herb or not. I definitely give it a thumbs up and highly recommend that you try it yourself.

Thanks friends,
